I do find it odd that gymnastics recruits and signees are asked to pose with football gear.
I guess since football pays all of the bills for all of our other sports ?

Awesome commits. We lost some talent to big sec programs. That's not all bad because we can obviously attract talent. Exciting times.

It is somewhat unusual, but compared to most other sports, gymnastics is all about cuteness and aesthetics, so I'd chalk it up to that. And I don't mean that as a slight to the gymnasts; their work ethic and skill is second to none, and they're highly competitive. But women's gymnastics does have a unique type of culture in college sports: VERY girly-girl. I think y'all know what I mean. But again, that's not a knock; I'm here for it. It's cool to see something a bit different.
