Santa Clara is a really BAD choice for a natty. They need to just go ahead and move it to a dome.
Santa Clara in and of itself offers nothing for tourists, nothing. It's also obscenely expensive, given its crappy locale.

It’s all about the location. Most people don’t want to go to the West Coast. If it was in Louisiana or Florida again prices would still be high.

The Airlines will charge a small fortune. So you are really not saving any money. I’ll watch from home.

That is bc the all the big shots hosting these bowl games didn't work with the airlines before setting the stage of where these games would be played, and they were to greedy for their britches. The odds of setting the stage somewhere between Bama and Clemson would have paid off big time for the fans and the bowl host even if it wasn't going to be one of the other or both not making it to the NCG. They backed them selves right into a losing corner when they chose Santa Clara, Ca!!!!

Good thing this isn’t the norm...but in a way, I feel All In because it’s costing me 110% more than it should to get there and I’m ok with it.

I think that if I was betting man, I would put all my money on, you can buy cheaper TICKETS at the stadium about 2 hours before kickoff. And the cheaper TICKETS that you buy at the stadium would be better seats than you could buy at any ticket outlet any where in the country!!!
