Never forget. Legendary moment, legendary play. Hate that the qb got hurt though. Never like to see a player go down.

It’s one of the most bad@ss things a Clemson player ever did

Think about this for a second....DeAndre McDaniel had a chance for a touchdown. He gladly gave that up so that he could take a shot at the Florida State quarterback. He called him out and invited him for a collision. The still shot of him smiling like a kid in a candy store when he was lining up to hit Christian Ponder I will never forget. Ultimate bad@###

While I was pondering how Ponder felt after that...

McDaniel is one of my favorite safeties we’ve had. His athleticism, ball-hawking and boom-bringin was fun to watch.

I was sitting right below the coaches box, and DV rocked after that hit to Ponder. The entire stadium started singing We Will Rock you!!!

Never experienced anything like it. What a game. That feeling of being next to the players while the crowd was absolutely rocking was amazing.

To me, McDaniel is a great example of someone who should have come back for another year. He could have dispelled any doubts about his injuries.

I believe you, but I'm one that believes all college players should stay to the end of their senior season. They can leave with a college degree plus, they will be more mature and better prepared for the NFL if that's the route they plan on taking. But guess what, coaches and owners feel that same way about players completing their senior season of college FB before entering in a pool of college players where only the best and most prepared has a chance of making a roster and succeeding as an NFL team mate!!!
