Most complimentary words I've ever read on the part of an opposing player. Also phrased well enough to express sincerity rather than trite repitions of coach-speak.

These were the kind of opponents I used to love to play: guys who respected you and the game, who maybe feared you a little bit, but were darned well going to give you their best shot. You might even find out later they were trying to soften you up and take your edge off! I always enjoyed playing the competition instead of playing angry with a chip on my shoulder.

Glad to see some classy comments from ND players.

Like us Notre Dame recruits quality individuals. I'm not surprised that one of their players would be complimentary of ours. I think both Mustipher and their linebacker that was interviewed are both engineering graduates ..... pretty smart guys.

I always enjoy Mustipher's interviews. Very intelligent analysis and he is well-spoken. I think he has a future in coaching.
