Thanks Cam. Got half our hits. El Cid obviously trying to improve on their 264 ranked team BA. Yeh, a W is a dub. Not just this game, but our plate approach lately is trending down. All this power still hasn't showed its predicted teeth.

Hopefully this was a game Cam needed. But I expect teams will quickly get back to pitching him inside. We had our chances to bust the game wide open... our hitters seem like they're waiting for the perfect pitch to hit, and begging for walks. Yes, the strike zone definitely was all over the place, but some of our guys seem tentative to jump on the first pitch and then seem to panic with 2 strikes... swinging at dirt balls, and picking up breakers. There's nothing wrong with hitting a pitch that might be called a ball. Go out there and hit it to the opposite field, like Cam does.

Go Tigers - let's break this game open early and then rest. Wake is a great team despite a headscratcher loss. They're in the top 25 in quite a few stats.
