I don't know the Minnesota laws, but in SC, if you are caught with a weapon during a crime, ( DWI is a crime) he will never be able to even have an opportunity to have a weapons permit now. What I would advise Kearse to do at this point, would be to spend a few hundred thousand to try and buy the disappearance of the whole ordeal. Getting out of things like that as an NFL player, it cost lots of the money that you have worked to earn your entire life to that point!!! Dumb, Dumb, Dumb, and it's going to cost him!!!!!

But he made two bad errors in judgement beyond his charges.

At his age you have no to very little fear.
If he gets a good lawyer he will be ok, why he didn't get conceal permit?
