That’s where you’re wrong. It’s an SUC phenomenon. Last time I checked Clemson still OWNS the SUC including the so called elite. Ok, Bama is elite. Everyone else is their byatch. Like the other poster said, you’ll NEVER see a Suckeye fan pulling for Michigan. Or a Clemson fan pulling for FSU (when they were relevant.) Kirby can’t win the big game. Clemson was a gimme. This was plain and simple about NIL presented to him by Kirby and Muscoot who did do in right after Dabo. UGA is really pushing NIL and they go the donor base to make it lucrative. State of 10 million people, Atlanta, enrollment pushing 40,000 etc.

This^^^^. IMHO, CFB needs to move to contracts, period. In one swoop you can deal with NIL, the bag man, decommitments, and the transfer portal. As soon as they turn 18, they can sign a contract for 3 years. Break it and face penalties enforceable by law, not the NCAA.

I 100% agree. Now there will have to be some kind of salary cap. Issue is it is not the college’s that are funding this.
This is what exactly we thought would happen with the NIL.
I can honestly say that if Clemson was in a better situation with the NIL money, I would still hate it because of what it would do to the overall sport.

Sounds like those 3 IMG kids doesn't understand what the definition of "Committment" means. Pretty sure they wouldn't understand if after they "Committed", Dabo continued recruiting more players at their position group. We'll be good, though. Dabo has built Clemson right, and will be right back in the thick of it next year.
