If we don't improve the OL and offensive philosophy it will be.
As for now, our 22 recruiting class is great, and we have another fantastic QB on the way.

I hope you are right but I am not sure that it is just DJ needing to improve, although that is needed. This is impossible to quantify but there seems to be something that has been slipping, somewhat invisibly for some time. It came to a head against Ohio State last year. Granted, our defense played great and very aggressively but just can't help but think that something major is needed or ESPN will be proved right.
It has not been that long since all the rage was that Clemson and Alabama were the two preeminent football programs in the country. Is anyone saying this any longer?
I would be overjoyed if I am wrong.

1.Offensive Line 2. Play calling/offensive scheme
There are your problems from the '18 Sugar Bowl up until today. I'd be happy to tell Tony Elliot face-to-face.

Not an ESPN fan but they have a point. Offense needs an update and most of the ACC stinks. It is what it is!!

Yes but UGA’s offense was such a world beater the other night. Everyone forgets they did not do much either. But yes we do need to update our offense.

What did anybody see that makes UG-A better than us, experienced QB, I don't think so. If DJ had the same amount of time behind center as JT has, we win that game, and I don't have a doubt about it. They score 1 field goal with their offense, we scored 1 field goal, and gave up a pick 6. If DJ had the same amount of game experience as JT, we win that game by a couple of scores with the same O line that played Saturday night, and YES, I definitely believe that!!!!

Looked clueless, looked awful, gave them a free one and still had a chance to drive and tie at the end of the game against the number 2 team in the land.

Totally agree with you. I do not understand why Tigernet continues to broadcast everything negative Finebaum has to say. None of the other Clemson sites even bother to give him the time of day.

Mommy they don’t like us. Don’t make us listen to them talk bad about us mommy.
Are you people grown educated men or freaking children?
Clemson does have obvious problems. Clemson is not Alabama. And we have lost our last three games against elite teams.
Sticking your head in the sand like an ostrich and thinking everybody hate you is not how you get better! Grow up! This is a big reason why 98% of the people in the world are clueless and unsuccessful!
Truly successful people do the things that other people will not. Part of that is being critical and making changes, making hard decisions and hard choices!

The point not spoken about enough is that Georgia’s offense didn’t find the end zone and I don’t think they ever reached the red zone, did they?

We certainly deserve some scrutiny but let's not pretend that ESPN has been wanting to say this for three years. We have almost single handedly kept the SEC from winning the title every season since the current playoff format started. Now, we lose one game, by one score, to a similarly ranked opponent and they are gleefully writing our obituary.

We lose a 3 top tier games and we’re done per ESPN and Paul DA Fineless. They never say that about an SEC team. Clemson is still Elite. Fans you gotta believe and show your support. The coaches and players can sense how the fans feel.
I hope if Texas the riches school in CFB and Oklahoma are blocked from joining the SEC. With all the money Texas will bring to the SEC the financial gap between all of the other conferences will become so big that eventually you have the SEC and the rest of College Football. It could become an all SEC CFP. Expansion to 12 teams distracts from what the SEC is trying to do which is to take financial ownership of college football.
I hope the PAC 12 keeps Texas in court for the next 20 years.
Eventually with so much money involved the government is going to get their greedy hands in there somehow.

One, they could try listening to Dabo and realize the pick 6 wasn't on DJ. It was the wrong route. Galloways drop on 3rd down hurt. We missed spec and a true slot receiver. DJ has practice and chemistry with him. As much as I wanted to see Ross come back, imo, he should have played a few snaps but not have been our main target. I just think it was too big an ask to him be in full season form and DJ had never gamed with him. Different in controlled scrimmage. JR may as well have been a true summer enrollee... Different had he been cleared in the spring game.
So, I totally disagree with their comments except our offense needs refreshing, not trashed. Imo, it's not our scheme, it's we don't adapt and tweak it. As much as Dabo would love to believe we have an OSU or Bama oline, we don't.
I honestly believe from what limited notes we received, our staff spent all year tinkering with the oline trying to mix and match instead of being committed to it is what it is and let's scheme around it. E.g. use a two back set. Use a 2 TE set to block and roll DJ out etc etc.
Definitely don't think the sky is falling or Sun has set. DJ will learn. Dabo nailed it. We just were not prepared for prime time from an offensive perspective. We acted like Trevor was still here and DJ would be Trevor. We lost a lot more from our offense than just Trevor and ETN.
We have zero game ready running back, less love shack. We lost all of our receivers that played most snaps last year. I'm not that shocked we lost, I'm shocked that we looked as inept as we did. We'll be a completely different team in November. Let's hope and pull for FSU to come in 6-1 and VA Tech 11-1 or 12-0.
Totally, totally disagree with them on LSU and OSU. We scored more than enough to win. As for the semifinals Bama game... It was KB. God Bless I love the guy but he just couldn't hit a bullseye from 10 feet. It was like Lucas Glover's putting.

I do not watch espn unless CU is on so I really could care less about what they say about us. How can Uga be elite because other than us who was the last elite team they beat. I guess in 2017 when they beat OU. I am basing this off everyone saying there is 3 elite teams OSU, Clemson, and bama.

I think DJ will be a good qB but not great until he decides he wants to run with authority. I know you all have seen his attempts at running off tackle or in the middle and the is no punch to his running. He is very hesitant and looks scared and if he continues to wait on the hit instead of delivering it he is going to get hurt and everyone calling for the backup is going to get him.
