Your blame of the fans alleging this was a bad team is inaccurate... The majority of the criticism has been pointing at bad coaching. Most of us who are critical believe we have a good team (players) with a subpar coach.
The coach himself frequently states he doesn't understand what is going on. Coach made the following statements after the loss to Boston College, "Thoroughly outplayed us...We just weren't quite ready...I don't really understand it."
Few of us, if any, believe the team (players) is bad...

I 100% believe that our bad losses has come only bc Brad got out coached on the court during the game, and not bc we have bad players or lesser talent. There were maybe two games that we loss bc the team couldn't put the ball through the basket!!!

While I appreciate the positivity……you can’t get upset that people doubt. There isn’t a proven record of Clemson basketball playing their best in tournament atmosphere. For Clemson fans to doubt is actually more realistic than for them to be optimistic. If you c at understand that then you are not living in reality.

Speaking of being realistic: Does an opening round victory get us another year of BB? And we all know we are back to the status quo 15/16 wins next year with BB.

This is a bad team. Easily should have won 4-5 more games. They don’t know how to finish. That I put on coaching. If y’all can remember the Tommy Bowden years. Those teams could not finish. They lacked confidence that they could win. I believe that’s where the basketball team has been for as long as I can remember. That’s the coaching difference. Dabo has our football team believing they can beat anyone. BB has not been able to get our players to that level of confidence.
This doesn’t mean they win every game but we see over and over the Basketball team losing games they should win.
I would only be shocked if we win. I expect a 1 and done again. Hope I’m wrong.

Exactly.
We were very fortunate and obviously well thought of. Unlike softball and baseball where we tend to get really tough draws, we got, imo the easiest 6/11 and possibly 6/3 seed. Although I can see Baylor getting upset easily. They played Boise 3 times. Finally beat them on the last game. But Boise beat them up twice ɓy 9 points. We blew Boise out. The matchups with New Mexico is much more favorable than cuse. I'd probably pick cuse if they played new Mexico.
Sweet 16 should be easily obtained. Don't look at the net, Ken pom crap, look at the matchups. Hall/sChief and jg3 will feast. Hunter should be able to feast driving straight to the hoop. Easy peasy.
