This is just so awesome. Valerie Cagle is one special athlete. I might have to make a trip to see these girls play live one day. Clemson softball is on the rise!

She's sure enough a great lady player, but things will get tougher for the team, when other teams stop pitching to her bc she is such a threat with the bat, or the ball in her hands!!!!

You are reaching. No one refers to our football players as gentlemen. Our guys, players or team. Ladies indicate something different such athletes but with a * cause they are female

For those who aren’t as plugged into softball just yet, Washington is a blue blood. That’s a massive resume win. The UW pitcher is arguably the best pitcher in the country. Our schedule this year is a pretty big step up from last year. Don’t be surprised if we have a worse record but are actually a better team overall. Playing Texas, Tennessee, Washington, and Georgia out of conference are all top 20 programs. Throw in series with VT, Duke and FSU (all top 25) and it makes for a heck of a schedule. All this said, we did softball right. Great coaching staff and facility and it’s paying major dividends. Oh, and getting Cagle (a Trevor or DW equivalent) isn’t hurting either.

I just rolled in from watching them in Florida. It's a shame either WCCP or the University get some radio coverage of these GREAT girls and let the fans all over the country listen in on their success. Hopefully one day soon

TU.
A few weeks ago I joked about BC's basketball announcers apologizing and explaining to the hockey fans that they were going to have to download a second app to listen to the hockey broadcast. A helpful Tigernet commenter informed me that BC has 5 hockey championships in program history, so their fan base takes their hockey seriously.
Maybe our softball team needs to start using a second app.

We're missing so much. Our main website has few in depth, or any of our sports media, stories. We still live in the dark ages of technology and reporting its not funny. Our AD department sux when it comes to promoting anything other than football. Most stories and news is outdated or non existent. Zero coach videos or wraps. I reported for HS football for peanuts and did a better job than our clowns. We're missing so much synergy in all sports. Teams with half our budget do a better job.
