Interesting, wonder what happened with Montgomery and Antwann Hill, seemed like there was interest at one time by all parties.

Any chance we are positioning ourselves to take 2 QB's next year? If so, then this makes sense if MacIntyre is our #1 rated QB and then Herbert is a depth and development target.

I was wondering the same thing. Last couple of years we've offered one then waited a good while by offering a 2nd then 3rd choice which I think has bitten us in the behind. Maybe going after 2 this time.

The only answer that I have is that Herbert looks like a pretty good QB in the film they used, and I understanding they use the best of his film that they can put together, but the kid looks to have a pretty accurate arm, especially with the deep ball 20 plus yards down field....

Doubtful because Bobby Hebert was a Louisiana boy and is in New Orleans presently. It's possible he's divorced and the kid grew up in the NE, but not likely.

Nice highlights, good size, smooth release, made quite a few off platform throws, deceptive speed.

Would like to see more throws where he has to hit a guy with timing and anticipation though, not a knock just stood out to me the bulk of his throws were streaks and alot of 4 verts.
