Impressive no doubt but imo, should have had more go through 3 rounds. A little baffled at the lack of love for Austin Bryant and Mitch Hyatt and even Huggy Bear.
I’ve been told I have orange colored glasses but where am I wrong? To me, the nfl still don’t get it. When did work ethic and character and the will to win get replaced by hand measurements and how high an olineman can jump to do a chest bump???
Guess I’m just too old because the teams winning super bowls now are the same that won them in my time. Players that have grit and determination. Oh well.

I agree with kerigantoo.
NFL Scouts are obsessed with drills, stopwatches, and measurements; when they should focus on football ability.
Those that do value playing the game, will to win, work ethic etc, end up going to 9 SBs in the last two decades, and winning 6 of them.

Based on the clips of players being drafted ...

... I don’t understand how some players are being drafted before Austin, Tre, Huggins, Hyatt, Kendall so far.
I get it ... I’ve watched every play of these guys for their career and I’m a little biased , but I also know our kids, the way they’ve been trained, their character, and their accomplishments, but so should the selectors.
Sure, I know there’s a lot more that goes into the evaluation process than a few clips, but I’m still shaking my head.
On the other hand, some teams are going to be blown away when these guys get into camp and ball out!

Remember, Grady was a 5th round pick...

Look where he is now. Lots of teams miss the mark on evaluations. My sense is, more teams will begin to spotlight character and leadership rather than measurements. Oakland, of all teams, may have figured it out...although Houston is clearly at the forefront. Perhaps the Falcons, too.

In each position, they take what they believe to be the best players in the entire country. And for Clemson to have 4 players going in the first 40 over all picks speaks huge volumes of the type of talent we are bringing in at Clemson. 4 in the top 40 is just awesome!!!
