Also, with Dabo bringing in Tom Allen it should be a plus for our defense in 2025. My biggest concerns for 2026 is our poor looking 2025 recruit signing class with 1 5star, 4 4star, and 9 3star recruits coming to help fill the gaps of graduation, NFL draft, and players unexpectedly loss mainly through the transfer portal.
Here's to hoping that the coaching hires that Dabo has made these past few years will help get all the new guys up to speed as quick as possible, and hopefully they can help us bring in the elite type recruiting classes that we've been used to over the past 10-11 years...

Don't be fooled, it just proves we need to cut loyal players and bring in more players from the portal ">

Yes, but the name of the game is winning as many games as possible, and the loyalty that you're speaking of just isn't enough to keep them around any longer. There was a time that subject was brought up about Dabo not cutting or taking away scholarships especially with injured players that would most likely never return to game, and Dabo has always found other means to keep their education being paid for. Loyalty is good to a point, but with college sports being a performance-based game, it can't be run or ruled over loyalty, it's a crap or get off the pot system and that's just the facts...

If we end up having a handful of freshman making an impact, in addition to what we are bringing back, and the skies the limit.

Depending on how big the incoming class is, but usually we always have a couple of freshmen that ends up with significant playing time after they've learned the playbook... Dabo has always been a HC that if a true freshman has the skills to play as a freshman, they were given a chance to prove themselves...
