The Flight info I’m looking at says departing PHX at 1:45 their time and arriving at GSP around 7pm. There is another Delta flight that gets in earlier, but the larger plane with the team current projects to 7ish

Now, the flight status says just leaving PHX and a GSP arrival is near 8pm, so arrival in Clemson will be 9ish or so.

FlightAware shows one Delta flight en route that lands at GSP at 8:10 PM and another one that is currently taxiing at PHX and scheduled to land GSP at 9:08 PM.
Not sure how you can tell which one has the team?

It would be better for me to go to the airport, but logistically, I'm not sure what to expect. Can't really see the plane land because of going through TSA, so where do the fans congregate?

I tried to go to the airport when they left, but that didn’t go well. The plane was parked by itself on the tarmac between the terminals A and B and the buses drove right out to the plane. It was also raining.
You can see the buses leave, but if it´s anything like departure, you may not see any players.

So what do we think I was planning on taking my son to meet them at the airport. Figured hang near luggage pickup.

They load the buses on the tarmac and police escort them quickly out the gates and on towards I-85. So you won’t see anything if you go into baggage claim.

Charter flights load directly on buses away from the terminal. The team will not go through regular luggage pick up.
