While I agree with you, sometimes a kid thinks the grass is greener on the other side. I expect his vision was perfect, but he just couldn't believe it. He wasn't a bad player, as his stats tell, but I don't know if we can do better, or not. I think we ought to reassess and see if he is a fit.

Agreed but it is still someone I hated to see leave and I wish would've stayed or somehow could come back. I know Dabo would never allow it but the kid is a good talent and we need good talent to replace what we are losing.

LMAO! The ONLY folks that have "loyalty" to Clemson are the fans and the head coach.
Players are NOT loyal - most coaches aren't loyal. H3ll, UGA just won back-to-back titles an even THEY have 16 players in the portal this year.
If they bail, I don't want them back.

hoping that he and all the others that use the portal within their first couple of seasons with a team they committed to, that they would actually learn what the word COMMITMENT actually means!!!

These modern college football players are about as committed to their schools as newlyweds are to each other. About 50% of all marriages end in divorce. As long as things are great, the marriage survives. When the first trials begin, many are gone. The portal is rapidly becoming analogous to marriage.
