Let's hope this happens...for those of us who remember the days when we played UGA almost every year, and as I've always said, Georgia is our true rival. Sure USuC is in state, etc etc...but they've historically been awful and it's more a rivalry to them than us. UGA has always been a powerhouse, a recruiting rival, close geographically, and a really good and competitive matchup.
I'd even be ok with dropping the pathetic chickens in order to play UGA every year. I mean, if USuC needs a big in state yearly rivalry then they should play the Citadel...that series is probably tied all time.

To be fair, we have historically been worse against UGA than USCjr has been against us.

These schedules take too long to get set up. by the time they do the grandchildren of the players are the ones playing them.
