5-star defender has Clemson in top schools
One of the top players out of the Sunshine State has Clemson in his top-5 group. Five-star Opa Locka defensive end Shemar Stewart included the Tigers in a top tier with Texas A&M, Ohio State, Miami and Georgia. Me neither. I’m wondering if it’s just fluff to create excitement. I havent heard or seen his name associated with Clemson this year. If we are legitimately being considered, it would be awesome.

Well Clemson is probably 5th on the list, but it is better than being 6th. Despite what the crystal balls say A&M most likely leads right now.

Well Clemson is probably 5th on the list, but it is better than being 6th. Despite what the crystal balls say A&M most likely leads right now.
who is still on clemson board to go after? i get that we are pretty selective but still stuck at 12 commits and offers remain under 70. the last couple classes were much larger in terms of offers.

Well I think on offense you have Greene at WR, maybe Williams but that is TBD, ETN at RB, and than either Delp, who I still think winds up going to UGA, or Sapp.
On defense I think they would like to take at least one DT. Shaw would have been that guy, Curry is likely to take an official in the Fall, and then I think you see the board expand. It puts an imperative on hitting on class of 23' guys. At DE Kelly and Stewart are still most likely the top targets currently, and I know of one name that is getting considerable evaluation from the staff. He plays in NC I do not know if they want that name out quite yet, but we will see if an offer is produced after the rest of his senior film comes in.

I see Stewart was reclassified as an interior DL by 247. His weight is up around 260 now. Clemson looking at him as a DT? Also, what’s the latest on DJ Wesolak? Still in it with him at DE?
