Who’s the next QB when Howell leaves UNCheat for the NFL?
Drake Maye a 2021 commitment. He had a rating of 5.9 on Rivals. He also had an offer from Clemson and comes from a family of very good athletes.

They are viewed that way but Mack Brown can have a team of 5 and 4 stars and still finish 8-4, just ask Texas fans. He won one Championship at Texas with a team that was very good. He always underachieves, but I do like him as a person.

From everything I read, we were very late in recruiting him and he pretty much as a UNC lean all along. He just came to Clemson just to see what Clemson had to offer. I guess UNC gave him better swag gifts.

I hate that we missed on him but I hope we get Antonio Williams. We need Williams more than another 6-3 WR. We already have a 6-3 receiver coming in this year Randall. We need a fast slot receiver. Alabama does not recruit many 6-3 receivers, they like the fast guys and it seems to work for them.

Drake Maye is our future QB (true freshman). He was highly rated and a verbal to Alabama prior to Mack flipping him. We also have a 4* QB from Arkansas, Criswell (soph) that will compete for the job. Howell's banged up so we'll likely see both QBs in action this Saturday against Wofford.
UNC had a disappointing season, no doubt. I remind my UNC friends that Dabo went 6-7 in his third season before Clemson exploded on the college football scene. Expect the same from the Tar Heels as Mack brings in top 10 talent. His current class of 16 is now ranked #8. The last two classes were top 13. This talent will start to emerge next season.
Here's hoping that both programs recover and we meet in the ACCCG in December 2022.

You sure have over-achieved this year. My guess is, the recruits will learn (again) that UNC will NOT be a National playoff team with Brown as coach. Weren't you ranked pre-season Top 10 this year?

Whats been going on with UNC NIL stuff? We're in a new era and i'm not sure Clemson is up to par with what may be starting to happen at other schools. The pitch of "Our Culture and we win championships" probably isnt enough anymore.

I can’t help but to believe we have lost some top recruit’s because of so much negative press from the media and from many of the fans. If fans do not think recruit’s search and read our social media board’s then you have your head buried in the sand. Even the current player’s read and hear what fan’s are saying. And they may be passing our comments on to recruit’s or recruiting services.
I don’t enjoy losing but I love this coaching staff and the players regardless of the outcome of a game or the season.
Nothing Positive is going to come from fans posting or expressing negative thoughts or bashing coaches and players with call in shows and other media sources.
We pride ourselves on being a unique University and one Big Happy Family. But I have to say that it feels like this year shows just how spoiled Clemson fans have become. It’s as if the past 10 consecutive years of tremendous success never happened. The first time we have adversity with our football program somebody needs to be fired or changes have to be made.
Maybe fans need to have a change in attitude! Support Dabo and his staff and encourage the players. IMO that’s what Clemson needs now more than anything. Send Dabo, his coaches and the players words of encouragement. Criticism is the last thing this team needs.
