One of the things that I noticed other than our shots falling through the net, it was that the FSU 3 point shooters weren't being given all the space that they needed to make those shots like what our guys had been giving our opponents in most of the games that we've lost, and that was a welcoming adjustment!!!

You'd hardly believe it was the same team that shot like 7% from 3 over the last two games and missed free throws that would have beat Ga Tech in regulation AND in overtime.
To give credit where credit is due, the zone was a good coaching decision, and the rotations--even though largely driven by foul trouble--were effective. The zone worked largely because FSU has not been a good 3-point shooting team all year so challenging them to beat you with it was a good call. And somehow managing to keep the team from jacking up 30 3's helped a lot.
I do wonder what the hell CBB was thinking on the play when we had a side-out with 1 second on the clock, and no one seemed to be aware of it as we inbounded into the back court and then were surprised to get the shot-clock violation. CBB on the sideline screaming and pointing at the clock AFTER the play really sewed it up that he didn't discuss it at all.
Nonetheless, a really good win, and I hope it means that the crappy play of the last few weeks is behind them and they win every single game they have left, win ACC Tournament and go far into the NCAA.
