Wasn’t Swanson one of the top ranked punters coming out of high school?

Yep, and punters aren't usually ranked star wise but he was. I think we'll be alright if they can just calm down and let it come naturally... Hopefully we don't have to punt very often.

LOLz. I think every football coach cringes over the kickers and punters as it can be such a wild variable between weather, skill, game situation, mental situation, etc.

However, I've noticed over the years Dabo in particular rides these guys hard and publicly.

I think that is actually part of a brilliant strategy to keep pressure on them but also let them know where they stand so there is minimal guessing/worry on their part (to keep their head's clear-er).

complete wild card for defenses to figure out, since they haven't seen him at all. Man, if we can just keep the injury bug at bay this year, we should see the return of the REAL WRU!

He has been a forgotten man. The funny thing is they moved him from the slot to the field position so there’s no conflict with Taylor who Dabo has a love affair with, a kid that never played the WR position before that’s being pushed in there over a kid that has played the position at a high level. This is very disrespectful. If you notice every time Dabo speaks to media he never has anything good to say about the kid when they ask about him when he was one of the standout WRs in Spring. He clearly has something against him.

Fingers crossed on randall’s knee

Sounds like coaches are super eager to get him out there. Seems really quick to be back from an acl. Can’t wait to see him play. Hope that thing is healing really well

Sheeese......not even been able to don full pads and already got Ngata (AGAIN) in a yellow jersey, Stellato (AGAIN) in a yellow jersey. I have come to realize that some superior athletes are just injury prone if not fragile. I hope they can turn the corner and be able to play FULL GO!

Stellato was in a green jersey for practice. Full go. We'll see how long that lasts

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Stellato was full go.

No you weren't, I was thinking the same thing... Or you could say his brother. Good genes! Me thinks Adams will be the same thing. True, not ready this year but the great news is we don't need them this year... Or if we do have to rely on them this year, it'll be because we're in a repeat of last year.

Bad news on Ngata. It doesn’t bode well when you get dinged up doing non contact drills. This guy has all the talent in the world but just can’t seem to stay healthy. I wish him the best of luck for the upcoming season and I hope this is just a small bump in the road.

It really sounds like he's maybe a slacker when in comes to getting his body physically strong from his neck to his feet. Muscles will stretch out to far, and tear up ligaments that holds your muscles in place. The biggest myth with working out I believe is, and that is people believe they have to keep adding more work out weight to get stronger, and that just isn't true to the sense of getting a muscle into shape. You must first get it in shape, then keep adding more repetitions to get the muscle you already have stronger, and in shape for durability.

Fighters don't lift weights for buck strength that you get by adding more and more weight, they just do more repetitions to make what muscle they have much stronger, and that type of weight lifting don't slow you down even when your body is getting much stronger!!! Body builders keep adding weight to get certain muscles bigger, then they do a lot of repetitions to make the muscle look ripped for competitions.

IMO, the only players that should lift heavy weight, are the guys in the trenches bc they have to man handle people on the other side of the trenches. The big uglies need the massive muscle. The guys that depend their speed in FB, they probably should never workout with more than 250 on the bench, and probably 275-300 the squats, and less when doing individual muscle work, and just do a lot of reps for agility strength....

I think you typed ligament when you meant to type tendon...

"Ligaments connect bones to other bones to form joints, while tendons connect bone to muscle." :D
