Mafah slivering at the line of scrimmage and his ability to shifty is what made both O-line and offensive more efficient yesterday. Clemson offense must stop featuring Shipley and Cade cause both have been a complete failure. Feature Mafah as starting RB because he has been the most productive RB all season. Plus, he has the ability to find open gaps or holes at the line of scrimmage than Shipley.

I agree and Shipley tries to run up to the line like running into a wall. Mafah finds the hole or breaks it to the outside.

Plus, mafah pff grades are consistently better than Shipley all year and that includes blocking. This really shouldn't be a ship vs mafah thing. Both are good but for whatever reason, mafah is what our offense needs.

Dabo tells his recruits they need be to perform if they want to stay on the field
Deon tells his portal talent: "The big picture, you go get new lineman. That's the picture and I'ma paint it perfectly."
How did each unit perform Saturday

So explain to me, what's the difference between a portal player and a recruit? What I thought, you can't.

Is it my imagination or does Dabo seem reluctant to praise Mafah? I mean, good grief, the guy ran for 182 yards and all Coach says is “It was good to see us get the run game going”, without even mentioning Mafah. What the heck?

When Dabo said "Phil just did an awesome job", he was talking about Mafah.

Yeah, I saw that, but that’s pretty faint praise. How often does an RB2 have a game like that? If Shipley had done it, I suspect Dabo would say more than “Ship did an awesome job” and then move on.

Well, Mafah also fumbled in a scenario that was unacceptable. If we were playing a good team we could've lost because of that fumble. So it went from a legendary performance to just "good"

key to victory. I don't recall a game where we consistently pinned the other team deep as many times as Saturday. The more ground an offense has to cover, ours or anybody elses, the more chance there is of a turnover.

30% RB and 100% what's missing. We've gotten a little complacent. Coaches, just like players, have to perform. That's the agreement. Sometimes they need a reminder to bring it because it matters.
