Spiller should be in the face of whoever deals with our bag of recruiting cash and telling them that this kid is a must get if our offensive plans are to use our RBs in the same way that we have over the past 10 years bc this kid can get open and has top quality speed when he turns the corner!!!

“ I feel very close to Clemson since I have visited," Baker said. "It was a great environment. It was different from every other college. Clemson really sticks out with the things they do and how different they are from other colleges. It's definitely going to be a factor for me after the visit and what I saw from them and the different ways they run the program."
I like that we’re different.

Is he willing to block? That should be a key trait of anyone we recruit

Because blocking and being willing to be a proficient blocker as RB is as important and being able to run the ball. If you can run the ball AND pick up blitzes and block (and I don’t mean pancake block, just chip the rusher and slow them down), you will be highly sought after in college and the NFL. Both skills are extremely important to unleashing big plays on the field.
I say this about the WRs too. A beautifully executed block on a screen pass or downfield is orgasmic! I always watch for those plays on every big play because that is what makes it all happen. Football ain’t basketball. It’s a consummate team sport. Every position must do their job and execute, even if not the center of attention on a given play. Win your battle!
The teams that play like that consistently win bigly! So this must be the mentality instilled in each and every position player. YOU are the key for springing a big play even when you don’t have the ball. Everyone plays with that mentality on every play and they will get the recognition and opportunity to be in the limelight. If they don’t, they should sit on the bench. Simple as that.
I hope and pray this is the #1 character trait we are looking for in a player. After that, can they run with vision and fearlessness? Can they catch like a frisbee catching dog? Combine those two things and look out! You have a game changer!

I never understood the RB position in 2024. Mafah was hurt all season and no one else played. A head scratcher.

Spiller doing work
EZ , Davidson and Baker would be quite a rb room
It reminds me of the 2016 Alabama team we beat
They had 5 NFL RB's on that roster simultaneously

His Mom looks very happy and comfortable in that picture with Dabo. Just looks like a Clemson Man and family. I think he's a Tiger commit soon!!!
