This! If that happens, this team can be special, because I think the defense will be very solid and have quality depth. Here’s to seeing the Tigers just methodically take completion apart. Go Tigers!

This is a completely different team this year than last, if they can get it together I feel like we will go places. Still Georgia on my mind but it’s the first game for the both of us, you never know. Let’s go Tigers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you like to hear that? That’s what we heard last year. To me it’s same ole same ole until I see us actually doing it better on the field. It sure hasn’t worked the last few years.
Maybe our personnel was really just that bad because that’s basically what Dabo just said. I sure hope that’s the case if we are going to be doing the same thing we’ve always done.

But we’ve been hearing him say the same stuff the last few years. I love Dabo and his optimism, but that’s the very reason you can’t believe anything he says in the preseason.

Do not agree with any of this. IMO when I read last year with Dabo was a very cautiously optimistic Dabo. He is alway the Optimist but last year his words were cautious. I think many just did not listen last year. I said last year that Dabo would do what he needed to do to fix the problems and I for one believe that he has done just that. We shall see, but I have never doubted him. Dabo Swinney is the best thing that ever happened to Clemson. Danny Ford started us rolling and then we got Dabo. I have been watching Clemson Football since I was a little girl and have always been proud to be a Tiger and have always been proud of our program and the way things were done at Clemson. Just like Dabo says “Clemson is a Special Place. Go TIGERS.

And a comment of "some good, some bad" isn't closer to "cautiously optimistic"? Heck, it isn't even really optimistic.
