Looking around the various conference tournaments, I see UCLA got upset by Michigan in the final. The SEC chose to quit playing and announced co-champs. LSU is #6 in the RPI but with a 12-12 conference record. If the Tigers get a national seed, it’s probably those two that are vulnerable. However, Clemson has the road win against the Vols, so if the criteria is more than just RPI the Tigers earned a spot above them. A conference championship earned on the field should count for something vs. handing 6 national seeds to the SEC.

Several here on Tigernet counted out this team and the coach early in the season.
One said, looks like coach was only good for starting out a program but not extending one. I suppose we all had our doubts.
Congratulations to this awesome team and coaching staff! ACC Champions baby!!!! Go Tigers!

Correct. I remember a bunch of posts regarding Rittman's ability to coach and he was merely a "program builder". I did not buy it then, and said so, as I have always thought that he was an outstanding coach and was being unfairly criticized. I suspect they will come back out of the woodwork when we lose another game or two ..... which of course is inevitable.
