Big Dave is a big Nipsey fan. Rapper who has done a lot to support his impoverished community, murdered last week in front of one of the businesses he set up in the old neighborhood to employ locals.

He picked one of his friends up from Prison and was getting him some new clothes at his store he owns before he took him to see his family. He just happened to be shot & killed b/c of some punk, while doing a good thing for his friend.

Not to take away from the rap discussion which I know absolutely nothing about, but what do we think of the true freshman QB that I have no chance of ever spelling his name?
He didn't get to play near enough for me to check out his arm, but I thought the few throws he made looked decent.

I'm just not getting that feeling that we get when we know that a big time recruit is about to commit to us. With about everything that he talked about, to me it seemed to be a silent BUT, unsaid!!! I truly hope not, and I hope that my feelings about DJ are way off!!!

Clemson is still the heavy favorite. I think he feels like he owes them a visit before making his decision because they were the first school to offer him, and DJ is also a big Marcus Mariota fan.
Edit: BTW I think it's clear his family favors Clemson, despite the distance from home.

@davidhood - did he say anything about spending time with Monte? And how did he enjoy the baseball team.
Have we agreed to let him play both sports. I know he wants too.
When is his visit to Oregon? Sounds like it’s between the two. Saying all the right things and I really think he’s definitely a lean. Glad momma had fun. Guess she found the Walmart ok!!!!

Will be very interesting to read his comments after that visit. We’ll be ok for sure with whatever his decision is but imo he commits to us anytime soon, sounds like others will commit here too. Or am I just reading that wrong.
Hopefully tnet staff will have other nuggets with B Bresee. That’s the one I really want us to get.
