I think what you mean by the same ###### is that we fail to ice a game on offense and force the defense to carry the team. Just a horrible sequence of plays when we had the ball with less than 3 min to play. Never should have come down to a goal line stand.

It did not go as planned but a win is a win. I just got tired of the No-Nothing announcers saying Wake's loss does not help Clemson. The last time I looked UNC was in the ACC, so yes it helps Clemson. If Wake's loss does not help Clemson then the loss to Pitt should not have counted against Clemson. Those announcers knew nothing. Just horrible! Next week I believe all of us can take a break from having mild heart-attacks each game. Also, DJ looked better last night. I just got tired of them trying to run the ball up the middle and not to the sides. Go Tigers!

The announcer were saying it doesn’t help Clemson because they did their homework unlike you! The game between WF/UNC was scheduled as a non conference game because the two teams close together choose to play more then the ACC schedule allows them! Love you fans who just get on here and bash everything yet have no real clue about any of it!

Could not agree more. The play calll when we were 4th and goal was nuts. We were not winning any runs off guard or tackle , so what did we run? Just awful play calling. Thankful for the win in another game that should not have been that close. Go Tigers.

Although Jimbo920 may have over-reacted somewhat, it is true (UNFORTUNATELY !!!) that yesterday's Wake vs. UNC game was a peculiarity ... a non-conference game between two ACC teams.
(UNC's 'permanent' opponent in the Atlantic Division is NC State. They rotate among the other ACC Atlantic teams for a home and home series, then move on to the next ACC Atlantic team in the rotation.)
UNC and Wake want to play each other (next-door-neighbor rivals), and so agreed to play the game yesterday as a 'non-conference' game ... so sanctioned by the ACC.
Between the Wake loss yesterday that 'didn't count' and the NC State victory over the flu ravaged FSU team (which was among the two final teams on NC State's schedule with a shot at beating them), us Clemson fans had a lousy day OTHER THAN the nice win over Louisville.

At this point, we'll take any win we can get! Collins in the slot made us better but obviously still not blocking well, 3 yards per is not exactly lighting it up. The D came through in the end after looking like they had no idea how to play the Louisville option or had never seen it most of the game and completely ignoring trying to contain the QB by over rushing time and time again. One step at a time and we can still win 10 games which is not that bad for an obvious "down" year.
