The offense doesn't need work, it needs an overhaul.

We do not have 1 receiver on the team that can run by defenders. Call it like it is.

Kelly Bryant was A$$ hurt when he didn’t get the job done and some Freshman, a la “Fabio”, took the starting role early. It’s time for Dabo and Tony to come to the grim realization that DJ is a deer in the headlights and telegraphs every single throw he attempts!! If we’re OK with losing 2 to 3 games this season with the inept QB we have now, may be time to switch to a back up to salvage what we have left. Pitiful outing against a 28 underdog. Just saying.

It's much bigger than just the play calling, bro.

You are correct in that there was no flow. Can't have any flow when your offense has flat-lined. Meanwhile the defense hasn't missed a beat.

I also love my Tigers (Class of 1974)….but I can confidently tell you that this is NOT a Championship playoff team and it is not simply underwhelming QB play…our OL is highly suspect and has been for years and it’s not like they are without talent as players…this is about line coaching, play calling and it is time for a fresh OL coaching perspective and maybe new play calling….we’ve got too much talent to be playing like this….the Wolfpack is licking their chops. I just hope we can beat the shamecocks and that ain’t a certainty.

This is the worst our offense has looked since Cole Stoudt was playing QB. Then DW4 came in and lit the place up. Same thing with Kelly Bryant and Trevor. Kade Clubnik can't get here fast enough.

Yes he is only one happy about this as he probably thought he would need to wait a year or two. Not anymore....

Bentley played great but one of the best defensive plays we have seen in Death Valley was Skalski stopping the shovel pass to save the game.

Good question. We have a ton of talent, but it seems that exp is lacking at every position. Justin Ross is ourbest receiver, but even he isnt in position. No continuity. It almost seems that coaching has taken for granted the basics and assumed that the offense knows what and where it should be. Seems hard to believe that our offense played our defense and did anything right.

I’ve asked the same question. But let’s look at who DJ was throwing to in those games. They are gone and maybe that is the biggest difference. Maybe they were that much better at route running and getting separation. Ii felt like I was watching a Danny Ford team. Incredible defense and an offense that did just enough.

For what it's worth, I called for a new OC after the UGA game. And I'd like to see what Taison P could do running the team. How could it be worse? Evidently our QB coach is as mediocre a coach as he was a QB. That was evidently covered up by the talent of DW and TL. I thought we were going to find ways to get Will Taylor (the Maverick) involved in some creative ways. So where was he tonight, other than catching punts and having his best return called back by a penalty. Right now I can't think of any reason an offensive recruit worth his salt would want to come to Clemson. The mark of a good leader is recognizing the need to make a change, even in midcourse, and doing it. Let's see what Dabo does this week - continue to "love this team." If he doesn't do something I don't see the ACC having a team in the playoffs, and it's questionable even if we win out. Maybe that's what it will take. I certainly hope not. Go Tigers.

I think we should all take a page from Aaron Rodgers playbook and R-E-L-A-X. The offense has been bad, OL and QB play. Let’s trust the coaches to fix it.

The offense needs work - REALLY? That's like saying the Titanic needs the floor polished. Our offense has regressed to circa 2008. Yes, Shipley has been outstanding but we have no scheme, no direction, no blocking and no coaching. How has DJ gone from the QB to throw for the most yards ever against ND to what we have seen this year? Who in their right mind would even consider putting a QB who drops about one of every three shotgun snaps in the shotgun in their own endzone in a one score game when all you had to do was take a snap and fall down. Their is absolutely NO EXCUSE for that move. This is a shame for defense that could be spectacular but in the end couldn't get off the field because it got ZERO help from the offense against a defense that will be luck to finish in the top 50. This is just unacceptable for where we think we are now in the elite of college football.
