and both OTs . . . Tyson must have needed my eyes to pick up his offensive production!!!
Surprised we didn’t close it out in regulation . . . but am grateful for our tenacity and perseverance and ability to “git’r done” in the 2nd OT!!!!!!!!

Puzzled why PJ was on the bench at the end of regulation but it all worked out in the end.

Absolutely. Contributions across the board and across classes. Team seems to have more options on offense than in recent years, and I like what BB is doing by working so many players into the rotation right now (though he’ll have to shorten the bench at some point). Seeing Middlebrooks and Beadle have an impact tonight might have been the best part.

defense and ability to sub for Chase, who is usually our best player. And mostly Tyson getting better every year and that is five years!

I think Penn State is a good team. I won’t be surprised if they are an NCAA Tournament team this year.
It was disappointing to see us miss key free throws down the stretch in regulation (by 80+% free throw shooters no less), but gutsy performance in both OT periods to secure the win.
If you told me before the game that Chase Hunter would go 0-11 from the field and Hunter Tyson wouldn’t score in the first half, I would’ve told you that we would lose for sure.
Great to see so many guys step up for us! I like this team.

Hunter made one field goal, a 3 that bounced off the rim then fell through. He fouled out shortly thereafter.

Very good win. Penn State has some very good strong guards. They just need a better power forward or center. Beadle and RJ are very athletic. Coach them up and give them more minutes. Not sure why he didn't have PJ in the game toward the end of regulation. Maybe he thought we had it won and wanted to rest him which would have been true if we didn't choke out some FTs.
