We definitely earned that sweep with the starting pitching. We were gifted a few runs, no doubt. Even coach said we left a few runs out there. Louisville came in hitting well, so kudos to our pitchers.
On a side note for those that didn't hear, the catcher for Louisville not only had never caught, he'd never played the position before. Thought he did pretty good considering it's not an easy position. Just ask Ingle who had a whale of a series behind the dish.

I thought they said he did some catching in High School. Even with that being said there is a big jump to College. You could tell he was wore out today and I agree he did very good considering. Ingle was a beast and the MVP today if not the weekend.

I am so pleased the way he has accepted t his position with such humility and grace. To hire Jack Leggett and to have such a respect for the Clemson Program is just off the charts. Love, love, love and respect this direction for our program.
It isn't hard to see, if you just open your eyes. Go Tigers! Fight! Fight! Win!

We took 5 out of 6 in the BC/Louisville series. Going in, if we had been offered to split (take 3 out of 6), I would have jumped on it. These are two of the best teams in the nation, not just the ACC. We still have a lot of work ahead, but we have positioned ourselves to host in the tournament. If we do well in the ACC tournament, we could potentially be one of the top 8.
