The DBs are fine, he needs them to stay healthy, but there is depth there this year. The starting LBs are as good as anyone in the country, but the depth is a definite question. Talent abounds but it is unproven! The defense should be one of the best in the country if they can stay healthy!

The LB position group is perhaps the one I am most worried about because of the lack of depth. Very little experience behind Carter and Trotter, so fingers crossed they stay healthy in 2023. Would be awesome if Dudley/Anderson/Crayton can make an instant impact this season.

Having an excellent Line Backer Corps is awesome, but...

I'd like to see more violence at the point of attack at the line of scrimmage. To have that, you need monsters on the front 4. I want to see opposing QBs and RBs running for their lives in the back field. However, it is difficult to score against an opponent who has smart and athletic line backers who are supported by precise corners and safeties.

his coaching and players will not be soft like last year. I was so disappointed seeing how out of shape key players were on defense. Wasn't about their Xs & Os. It was the players sucking wind after a few downs. Just weird seeing that after watching BV all those years keep his guys in shape.

Carter and a Trotter are beasts. If Woodaz takes a step forward he looks like he can be too.
