You know CDS isn’t spilling the beans this time of year. Hell, he kept the “this offense is a step away from exploding” until about game 6 last year when he just couldn’t anymore. Don’t get me wrong, I get it. He has team/player morale to think about. I’m sure the Hoods have a BS meter when they talk with CDS, but they walk a fine line with rocking the boat too much if they post articles with speculation.

Being able to vary the tempo and knowing when to do so--sounds good.

Ah yes, that time of year again. When “doing great” could mean “terrible, but a hard worker and “he’s not doing what he needs to do” could mean “the best I’ve ever seen, but trying to keep his ego in check”.

If the O-line can stay healthy, DJ will have a big year. Our line is the key piece.

I love how you defend the worst season passing in Clemson history statistically (literally second worst in the entire country) by saying the offensive line just needs to block. Clemson was 27th in the country in sacks allowed. Not great, but not that bad. Or was it DJ's quick thinking and mobility that kept it from being worse?

Quick thinking? Mobility? That’s some of the best sarcasm I’ve read in a while!

We're not hearing usual "defense is ahead of the offense"

We've only got a few tidbits so far, but it seems like at this time of year (and in summer) the coaches often say that the defense is ahead of the offense (which is normal). We heard that a lot last season. Considering the injuries at receiver & RB, hopefully that's a good sign that the offense is much improved (and not just because Bresee is out or something).
Go Tigers!

That was because our defense was much more

Well coached than our offense.
It’s an offensive game now. If we can’t move the ball on our defense we’re not a CFP team.

Unless someone says "DJ is 180 degrees different vs last yr"

im not buying vague terms of "improvement" or "took care of the ball"
more INT > TD deserves a benching at every level of football.

May be reading between the lines too much but what popped out at me was Cade “is very accurate.” and DJ “managed the game well.”

"Very accurate" is a phrase that could not have been applied

to DJ at ANY point last season. So, if Dabo is using it now, there must be some real improvement. If not, the Cade sightings in games will come early and often.
