Well can’t be any worse! RPI at 14. Going to be on the road for a regional. Team is about to pull a Brownell. Depressing is an understatement. Team has no player leadership, no guts and right now no motivation.

This team looks like they are either really tired, which could be the case, or they have just given up. When I played College Baseball in the 90's we only played around 32-35 games a season, now they are playing 55-60, thanks NCAA and NIL for that...

The best days are not ahead for this team, the season is almost over. Maybe he is talking about next year, who knows.

Ritmann got his team going when they struggled. Maybe visit w him about what he did. Different sport but similar. Maybe he has something he found. Because so far what we have isnt working and appears to be getting worse not better. UGa was about the last time we looked good against a good team.

I think this team needs some coaching changes and Eric needs to evaluate his decision making regarding when to replace a struggling pitcher. For example, it was obvious yesterday that Bailey was struggling before he gave up 7 runs with back-to-back homers. He takes out pitchers that are succeeding and hesitates to remove those who are not. This team can’t overcome big deficits. But when they can score 9 runs, like they did Saturday, that should be enough to win.

Good to believe, but I'm sure the best days are behind this season. Maybe let the team go back to lil league for basic hitting lessons and approach at the plate. Pitching is just a lost cause, we have what we have.
