Idk...this feels more than just basic routine details. Our offense doesn't even look D1 level and that's more than just detail focus.

Anyone remember from the past when he said he clearly understood the problems and would get it fixed?

Regardless of what the details were that got our guys beat the FK up, we had already experienced what UGA could do with their talent when we played them to a 10-3 loss on 09/04/2021. IMO all that you're saying after this beat down wasn't like you didn't already know what it was going to be like playing the same team with just as much talent as they had in 2021. The main difference in this time around than in 2021, is that we had a much better coaching on staff in 2021 than we have in 2024. I could be wrong but I think that team won the NCG that year, so our staff in 2021 held a NC team to 10 points, and most of your staff right now couldn't hold a cup of water back from spilling all over us...
I went and checked, I wasn't wrong, our 2021 coaching staff was good enough to coach our guys up to be good enough to hold a NC team to just 10 points, and they beat everybody else by 20 plus points and they could only beat our coached up team by 7 points, and that is how much of a difference a well coached team can make!!!

you had extra time to prep for this game and get your details together. It is disappointing you weren't ready. Ga played a pretty clean game. From the get go we didnt. Given their off season antics you would think they would have been unfocused. Yet for all our camp rah rah we were.

Yeah that was my thought too. However, I think Dabo never intended to win the game, just make it competitive. He’s playing the new 12 team playoff system. This weekend won’t show us much either imo. We’ll have to wait for NC State to see what the offense really looks like unfortunately.

Trying to get into the playoffs just to say you got into the playoffs is not winning football getting there is the sec is something special getting there in the ACC is a joke ...Even if we do get into the playoffs what then we get our ##### kicked by a team that played in a real conference

Hey Dabo: How about putting your best WR's on the field ? Randall and Turner aren't P5 WR's.

Dabo everything that you said came from the lack of position coaching, get them guys experienced coaching and they will be ready for the fake motions and wheel routes that's not a wheel route. It's all in the coaching, coaching and again it's all about their coaching that they're not getting with inexperienced coaching!!! Get them kids some coaches that has seen about anything that the opposing team can throw at them, and they'll be ready to expose them for trying it...

happen which you talk about have been going on for three or four years. If they are so simple to react to then they should have been fixed a long time ago. Also, why are you calling out the defense that at least held it together for 2 1/2 quarters. They are the bright spot on the team. It's your offense that is the problem but you consistently coddle them, never make adjustments during the game and sit your best players. You have become a bore to listen to and watch. It's painful and many of us have tuned you out at this point. We just want to see results and the commitment to excellence you promised.

Eliminate those offensive mistakes and I still doubt we score a TD. We just got the dog crap beat out of us.

This team is talented. A team always improves the most from the first game to the second. UGA is very well coached and it showed by their half time adjustments that exposed some of our weaknesses in the second. We learned a lot by facing the #1 team in a playoff type environment and will be a better team for it. I believe we will see a more crisp offense this week taking more shots downfield and need to see a lot of Wesco and Moore. Dabo may need to focus on the details with our WR's in practice. Williams and Brown executed and caught balls thrown their way, hopefully Wesco and Moore will do the same.

Lack of a qb for the last 5 years is depressing for offensive and defensive players alike. Get your head out of the sand. Dont you remember what deshaun and trevor looked like?

Anyone sense that Dabo views Offense as having fragile psyche?

It looks obvious to me that Dabo doesn’t believe that our offense has elite talent, except for the O-Line (which looked darn good, which you can see if you watch the replay and focus on the O-Linemen).
Our offense has one right-now elite skill player un Antonio Williams. Jake Briningstool is very good in every area scepter blocking. I won’t belabor his blocking performance here; watch his blocking in the replay and judge for yourself.
Dabo gets credit for mentioning Cole Turner’s aborted deep route as being a failure. Had C.Turner not aborted that route, was it a high probability that the UGA defender would not have broken up the pass anyway, or that the balls arrival and Turner’s arrival would have converged?
Dabo’s representation of that one play being the game changer is over the top. The penalties (was it only two the entire game by the offense?) being blamed doesn’t cut it, either.
What he’s dancing around is that our offense’s skilled talent, at least that talent which knows the playbook as well as roles & responsibilities that are complicated (which one from among two blitzers does a TE or RB block?), is not elite except for #0.
He’s got to tread carefully re QB position. Remember how DJU lost confidence (as evidenced by his ‘yip plagued’ ground ball passes)? CK2 has gotten a boatload of criticism, which in hindsight is unfair. CK2 is the person, not just the mythical 5* player which guarantees us fans a trip by the Tigers to the CFP. He clearly needed a lot of both coaching + game experience. He has clearly improved, although all of his position-knowledge flaws have not been completely fixed. Our coaches are still struggling to manage play calls that do not require the QB to have a big arm to successfully execute selected plays.
xxxxxx
As for our defense, we do indeed have several elite players; those whom are not elite range from pretty good to very good. I getnit that Dabo can expect smarter play from the defense because our defensive players have the self confidence about their abikities. Dabo clearly believes that he can speak more critically in a public forum about his defense without harming their psyche.
IMO.

Okay. I like Cade, but you have to have an elite QB to be playoff quality if everything thing else is good on both sides of the ball. Cade doesn't have the 'IT' factor anymore than DJU has/had it. We're an average team with Cade, period.

It's this type of stuff from Dabo that angers me. The loss to UGA had nothing to do with "details"
We were beaten soundly in every facet of the game. We were never ever a threat to them.
Dabo talks like we were all tied up in the 4th qtr and had some silly penalties that cost us the game

He's a salesman and he expects the fans to buy what he is selling. The defense kept it close for a half, UGA made adjustments and our defense couldn't keep up with them. The offense started just like it has for the past three years, and stayed that way the whole game. Luke is the only bright spot when it comes to the offensive staff.

Show me ELITE TALENT against App State

I'm in a bit of a bind as a long-time Clemson fan. Watching that UGA game, I was torn. Was it Klubnik that just outright stank it up? Was it Riley, who looked completely unable to work at this level? Was it an overall failure to recruit the necessary players to compete at what used to be OUR level?
Show me this elite talent of which you speak.

If we can flush the 'Dawgs, if we can learn from the game, but not lose focus, we can still have a great year. We have to put this on in the rear view mirror.
