more swag from future visits to other schools is not a good sign. If he is willing to potentially lose a spot to do that, doesn't sound to me like he really wants to be here anyway. He's giving it some fancy lip service, though.

He is enjoying the attention and process. There is no comparison between the programs if he dosent see the same then maybe its best he moves on

His name seems to be the sole one as far as safety targets go. Predictions for Billings to Clemson came after the big official visit weekend. My guess (with no inside information) is he was all but ready to commit, Dabo reiterated the Clemson rules on commitment and he decided to enjoy the whole recruitment process before committing.

Was hoping we'd make headway and reel in Caleb Downs. He took a lot of officials in June but has yet to take one here.

Not a good look for a 3 star to be slow playing us for FSU and Kentucky. If you don’t feel confident that Clemson is a better place than those two schools, perhaps he should move on.

He’s only what, 17 years old? Let him enjoy being a recruit. He’s not slow playing us. He’s just not rushing into a commitment, which is totally understandable. Nathaniel Joseph rushed into a commitment, remember? And how did that turn out? So if a kid commits early and then decommits, he’s the devil. If he takes his visits and let’s his recruitment play out, then he’s slow playing us? Got it.
He wants to be a tiger and there’s a 90%+ chance that ends up happening. But he’s not going to commit just to hold his spot.

Agree, let him enjoy the process and take his visits. This may be the biggest decision he has had to make so far in life. Granted it is somewhat risky on his part, but if our coaches want him that badly they will make the numbers work.
