I agree with what you've said, and to me, when someone talks like that about a Clemson player (like Tigershun) that was asked to come and play for Clemson, they're not much of a Clemson fan IMO!!!

Two the philosophy and technique will not be exactly the same based on the system.

TBH, I'm not up on all the details of Air Raid. I just came to comment on o-line, though, because I've thought that RPO handicaps the o-line. If the o-line knows it's a run call, then they can be violent, pancake the guy in front of them even if it means being downfield. If they know it's a pass call, they can focus on protection. Very different approaches, to me. RPO asks an o-lineman to sort-of run block and sort-of pass block and they never know what happens until the play is almost over.

I agree on this. People rave about Danny Ford’s OL, but

… but you can bet his PL always knew what the were lining up to do before the snap of the ball.
There was no mystery.

Offense is offense and it all starts with the play of the line.

Work some D lineman that will see little playing time into the rotation. We need some bad attitude in there and ya never know. 1 or 2 might discover their true calling

Hmmm … for Spring practice, returning starters are W.Putnam (C), B.Miller (RT), and (end of season guy) M.Mayes (LG).
Since neither Parks nor Tate (both being obvious starters at guard, and both being legit candidates to start at LT now that McFadden has graduated) will get snaps this Spring, then Spring practice will be an especially useful time for rapid development of OL depth.
Blake Miller … based on his pass blocking, it seems reasonable that he should stay at RT. (Concerned he turns out to be our best for LT).
Putnam … obvious (and excellent) starter again at Center.
Mitchell Mayes … did good job at RG because of quickness and technique.
Had hoped that one of our bigger guys (Pennington … if he can finish losing the excess weight and Sadler … based only on the ravings about him from the coaches last year) would improve enough between now and end of Summer for one of them to earn starting spot at a guard position.
My biggest questions are about LT (and whether T.Leigh develops enough to earn the starter role or to get a lot of snaps as 2nd stringer).
Second biggest ???s are about depth at Center. Will either Paul Howard and/or R.Linthicum and/or Harris Sewell be trusted to play?
(***). Assuming that both Tate and Parks are at full health when Summer starts, we’ll have our best OL in 2023 that we had since 2018.
