Agreed- Coach seems like a phenomenal person as well as a coach. Tigernation seems to have a good table set for the near future. Not just for us fans but for the 'kids' too

He's a great addition to Clemson's staff. Not only will he improve our defense, but he is a great addition to the culture of Clemson.

I posted just the other day about repetitive articles praising Clemson , our QB and the potential of our offense to create explosive plays.

I wanted to hear more about our defensive potential under Tom Allan , as well as some of his methods and motivations

This article provides the insight i was seeking.

He's exactly right in his approach to demand accountability. You first have to make it personal. There are a lot of coaches who couldn't or wouldn't do it this way. There are also a lot of coaches who will underachieve never realize their full potential. These things are related.

Thank you coach Allan for going the extra mile. Can't wait to see " your " guys this fall.

And thank you TigerNet for this write-up

Same here…..Coach Allen is remarkable and amazing……to dig this deep to find that “connection” for the betterment of not only the player….but also the student, the man and the future man this kid will be.
Could never see WG doing anything like this.
Go Tigers…!!! 🏈🏈🏈

I kind of like the black hat on him, fits him somehow, normally unless you've been at clemson awhile i wanna see you wearing orange white or purple........only venables could get away with neon green.

Allen sounds like he is going to be a lot of fun to cheer for.***

DEER DAVE:

Thanks for the defensive nuggs my man.... GO TIGERS!

However, is it me or is the recruiting roster shaping up to be a team full of offensive linemen? We need some nasty DTs on the field....

Our country won't go on forever, if we stay soft as we are now. There won't be any America because some foreign soldiery will invade us and take our women and breed a hardier race.

Look forward to seeing a big improvement on Defense. Want to see team fundamental tackling instead of trying to make the big hit or trying to strip the ball out. Get the offensive player with the ball on the ground with plenty of hats on him.

GO TIGERS

Agree with the previous comments - I really like what I see in Coach Allen and think he is going to be a great addition to our program.
Based on what we are seeing of Allen thus far, it's tough to imagine him working at Penn State under James Franklin, who in my opinion is one of the most UN-likable coaches in College Football. Constantly whining and blaming someone else (including his players) rather than taking accountability himself. Perhaps that difference in personalities contributed to Allen's interest in making the lateral move to Clemson.
Regardless, I believe he will align perfectly with the culture that Dabo has built and that will be a win for all - For Clemson, for Allen and for every kid that plays for him. I can't wait to see this play out.
