I pray all these young men truly know what the word commitment means. It's a word and a concept that will be needed and valuable throughout their lives. These are all skills that transfer long after college and even football have ended.

What we are seeing is unprecedented in Clemson football recruiting history.

It somewhat reminds me of the run Deion and Colorado went on when Sanders was first hired. Remember the frenzy of players he picked up in the portal ? Even snagged the Heisman winner in Travis Hunter.

But Dabo is taking the antithetical approach to Deion's model.

I think those who thought Dabo couldn't accomplish signing a great class in the absence of using the portal have a lot of crow to eat

It's pretty awesome to see how Dabo and Clemson have separated themselves from the pack and are indeed one of a kind.

Good article, great to have that momentum. Interesting that the one said seeing players critique each others in practice was unique, Good sign that we may have some good leaders among our players.

I agreeā€¦itā€™s hard to glean intent through written word but it feels like guys are receptive to honest sincere constructive criticismā€¦thatā€™s maturity!!

And I agree that very few truly understand Clemson and Dabo. Iā€™m all in coach!!

Dabo does a great job in relating to them on a personal level
and that in turn manifests with the players , who only recently met one another but are already developing relationships that will last a lifetime.

That's an added bonus in Dabo's approach in that these guys reach out to their peers and share something that is unlikely to occur on most if not all other visits.

It's great to hear they ( players ) are actively recruiting for Clemson

That would not occur if not for the bonding that is taking place.

And with that will come leadership and accountability on the field

That is something that has been sorely lacking
