20.97 in the 200 is blazing.
Some guys you can somewhat ignore as a DB if you possess closing speed.
You don't have that luxury if Salmin is on the field. If he gets the ball and you're more than a few feet away , he's gone.
Who knows , this guy could be our " silver Salmin " .
And please , keep stacking em. If you want to catch OhioSt as WRU thats a must.
Remember, it wasn't long ago that OhioSt snagged 7 of the top 11 WRs in the country. That's what we're up against as long as Hartline is there. Imo

He'd be one of our best sprinters right from the jump. And with development? There's no telling. Even crazier that he's still only a rising senior in HS. Really hope Dabo can do Mark Elliott a solid with this one. I mentioned this before, but it's worth noting that he's high school track teammates with Quincy Wilson, the kid who captured national headlines when he made the US Olympic team last year in the mixed-gender 4x400m as a 16-year-old 10th grader. Yes, he didn't crack the top 3 needed for the open 400m, or the top 4 for the men's 4x400m, but he finished 6th in the 400m at the US Olympic trials last year running sub-45 seconds. Absolute insanity. Not a bad guy to be relay teammates with, huh? So not only is Salmin fast, he comes from a GREAT track team and culture at the prep level.

Those fellas didn't have offers from 2 dozen power 4 schools including several top 25s.
However, I tend to agree, we have much better luck with WRs from the deep south.

Sammy's best time in the 200 was 21.11. And Sammy was an absolute stud with elite speed.
It's hard to wrap my head around how fast Salmin is right now as a high school rising senior.
