But you are correct about that about us American pitchers. In 1971 Nolan Ryan pitched a 244 pitch, 15 inning complete game. Thatis CRAZY to think about!

As if the number of pitches thrown by the pitchers in both games wasn’t astounding enough - the fact: “ Clemson CF in that game was Randy Mazey, the current WVU coach. “ is mind bottling!!!!

I believe the NCAA has regulations against pitching beyond 110 pitches. How can this kid throw 130+ and WVU not face penalties?!

That’s 2 starts worth of pitches nowadays. I remember Ray tanner had a pitcher go 130+ pitches in a CWS game one time. Nolan Ryan was probably the most impressive getting stronger after reaching 100 pitches

The Miss St pitcher does that. 97-98mph on right and 93-94 with left hand. He is a big dude too. Has a weird name that needs some vowels. Starts with a "C" I think I recall.

One of my American Legion teams had a player who threw equally well with either arm! On several occasions he pitched the first game of doubleheader and the second as well.
They don’t make those any more!!!!
