The cadet who brought Tiger Rag to Clemson hitchhiked to Atlanta, picked the sheet music out in a music store, then hitchhiked back to campus with the music in hand. The rest is history.

That's a good one. My fingers hurt watching the banjo player.

Tiger Band would play Tiger Rag then immediately followed by Dixie. The two songs went great together.

to play Tiger Rag, in the 20’s in N’awlins. It came out of the ragtime/Dixieland jazz tradition.

I've wanted to try to learn Tiger Rag on the guitar. Can't read sheet music YET but does anyone know if guitar tabs/chords exist anywhere? I've looked but haven't found anything
