I hold my breath any time he touches a basketball. Reminds me of the coaches son who sucks and manages to get minutes.
Its awful to watch him play basketball

Yeah, don’t see him bringing a lot to the table. Think he’s really just a body to consume some minutes.

Totally agreed, Judge. Breeder is a streak shooter whose ball handling and defense have improved dramatically since he arrived at Clemson. He will always be a role player and never an all ACC type but he replaced a potted plant who stood in the corner and contributed nothing, so Clemson BB is way ahead on that swap. Also, don't ever play Breeder in a game of Horse! He can flat out shoot the lights out when he hits a hot stretch!

Unfortunately for him, Clemson guard/wing depth is very deep. I think he's a guy that may gain confidence with more playing time next year. He's a skilled player and not just a spot of shooter as he's shown several times this year the willingness to take it all the way to rack. He's also shown some defensive acumen causing turnovers this season. He's not Chase Hunter but he isn't "just a body" either. If he stays next season, I think he has a chance to start or at least play 20+ mins a game.

He’s a much better version of Alex Hemenway. That should be enough.

Better hands/defense than I expected. Not a starter, but certainly give us good minutes.

Exactly. His defense is very underrated. He glides out there especially (I’m gonna say it) for a white boy……

He gives good minutes off the bench. Shoots 42 % from 3. Dude dropped 15 on Wake earlier this season. Not sure why people continue to post such things about our players. We need all of them…there are some matchups where certain players will get more minutes, etc….they don’t all fulfill the same role each game.

Wondering if some of these posters watch basketball. Seems to be a pretty solid bench player and fills his role well.

Willing and good shooter (42.5 from 3)
Exerts maximum effort on D to make up for any physical shortcomings
Crafty around the rim and not afraid to take it there
Perfect in a 10-12 minutes a game role

Imo, he’s a very good 3pt shooter, as evidenced by his numbers at Air Force, but his role is much more limited here on a talented roster.
Here’s my take (conjecture ONLY-I know no one close to he situation). At AF he played a lot of minutes and scored a lot of points, and as such, was able to get into his rhythm. Here at Clemson, his opportunities are much more limited and he seems to press or force his shots a tad more than he should. I wonder if he feels pressured internally to produce more during those limited minutes.
He’s a good shooter overall, better defensively that what many initially expected, but forces his shots at time.
He’s on a pretty good team, but I expect him to have better numbers next year-if he gets just a few more minutes per game and lets the game come to him.
Go Tigers

He missed last year with an injury and recovery.
He is a very good shooter and can take it to the midrange or all the way to the basket better than he has shown this year.
I believe he be an important player for us next year.

He will likely help us win a big game to close this year. Quick hands and quicker overall than expected. Form on shot NOT as good as I expected, but I think he can be a quality player, just not getting confidence since we r deeper than normal. No, he is multiple times better than Shyatt’s son and can play winning ball for us. Unsure what moment u saw to give such a negative impression

He’s one of the best 3 point shooters on the team and cuts better than anyone. Also scrappy defense. Only gets 8-10 minutes of playing time and is more reliable than you think. Also a great teammate. Lucky to have him.

What you’re really saying is that you don’t trust the staff to make personnel decisions. You don’t trust BB to make the decisions you would have made.
Interesting how it all usually turns out to be a positive decision. And you have to stress your weaknesses in order to strengthen them.
Not every substitution is for a competitive advantage.

I'm one of those patient guys, with orange colored glasses.
For freshmen, or players (basketball or football) in their first full year contributing, I'm happy with seeing flashes for now, and expect coaching to turn that into more consistent performance.
I like this kid, and think he's a big part of next year's team.

I understand he doesn’t usually score much but he does handle the ball well and plays safe. I don’t hold my breath when he has the ball, bc 19-20 times he is just gonna distribute it to another player. Tonight was an exception w Chase out some and two fouls in first half. He stepped up
