Wrong. The coaching payroll has to be gutted and the balance spent paying players if you want to win. Our coaching staff makes more than the Chiefs'.

Not more than Cheifs! Andy Reid makes $20m annually with a 5yr $100m contract.

It lack of talent. Not OC

Nov 30, 2024, 4:19 PM

His refusal to supplement deficiencies from the portal has depleted our talent to where the average teams compete with us on the regular.

Talent is not the issue , we have talent … maybe not what we used to be but enough to win these games we are losing especially today …the offensive scheme and playcalling is horrible. Absolutely no creativity.

Why is it that our coaches seem to have blinders on? Mafah is very talented but it was clear that his game was compromised today. Minimal effectiveness. Haynes is a tremendous talent that would have brought an unplanned for dimension. Blind loyalty is not a good character trait for a coach…just saying

Was it that? Or was it that we put a square piece in a round hole with GR and make him run the “Clemson offense”

They're handicapped by Dabos overall philosophy. The common denominator is Dabo.

Everyone thought Riley was a homerun hire...

Nov 30, 2024, 6:14 PM

now it hasn't been the leap forward we wanted, but WHY that's the case is still a bit up in the air.
Was he kind of a young coach that did what he did with Sonny and has trouble operating on his own?
Is our offensive line so bad that we can't run his entire playbook because they can't protect?
Before this year were our wideouts ordered from Wish.com?
Was he given free reign over the offense? (I actually think so but there are some that will never be convinced)

I don't know what the reason is that we've forgotten how to run offense the past 3~4 years, but WHATEVER the reason, I'm D-U-N done with it.

If you all think that is Riley coaching with no restraints you are crazy. If you watch his games at other schools this isn’t the play calling you see. Someone has him restrained. He was a good hire if you just let him go. He would t be snapping the ball as slow as we are I assure you.

Dabo calls the plays and Riley runs them
