12 errors and 14 unearned runs this weekend vs the coots. If you know baseball then I don't have to explain why we got swept.

Tight or not, just win a #### ball game against them

Getting old to say we own the all time record in both football and baseball.the here and now has gone on way too long . We play way too tight but fri and Sunday and the last 5 games in football suck. The coots do not care about bcs or being a top ten program in baseball like we have been consistently. They only care about the one thing that used to be second nature to us and that is beating your rival on a regular basis.

If we look at history, Army and Pitt are some of the best football teams in the nation. In sports, its not "what you have done," it is "what you have done recently."

But my point is we have done plenty on a national love and are still relevant in that regard. Much unlike army or Pitt but have struggled big time against our most disliked program. So recently, we have done plenty. Still one of the top ten most successful programs in baseball over the past ten yrs and most would like to be where we are in football as well.

Bingo.
They are too tight? What's jack supposed to do? Go out there and tell them a priest walks into a bar joke? It was just bad baseball fundamentally. Can't blame the coach who isn't physically playing the game himself.

Are you capable of answering a simple question?
For every turnover... No if we had a trend of playing poor basketball and turning the ball over left and right then yes.
Keep defending your hero though. Pathetic you are a bigger fan of a coach than of a school. ONE Championship in 18 years.

Ever do any coaching at a higher level? no matter the sport, at an elite level (and this is an elite level in college baseball) the main job of the coach is to mange things according to long known and tested methodologies and to be a psychologist to and for your team. Lift them up when they're down, instill confidence when things are going poorly, bring reality back to them when things are going "too" well. Can you honestly say that Jack Leggett is currently able to do any of those things. Listen to the man speak and you'll get your answer.

Errors are a symptom and not the root cause.

If you play like you have an ice pick wedged up your ### like JL coaches then there will be errors. If you play small ball and don't let the guys relax then those errors will be amplified. The same thing happened with the six turnovers in our football game. Once the coach expects to win and accepts no other outcome then the results will change but for JL the fear is set in.

to play before they got to Clemson. What is different? Jack coaching them. If you aren't having fun and playing loose and carefree then these are th results you get. Jack is the constant

Unfortunately most of the contributors on this site do not understand the mental part of sports! and they clearly know nothing about the coach's roles!

JL came from WCU so I am sure there's others that can coach in this error of dead bats and soft core balls. It's a stigma with JL. He was good in his heyday but sometimes you have to know when to calk it quits and reinvent.
