heading into the season, I wonder what he has this team believing. So far we've delivered on our excellent finish from last year and couldn't be in a better spot league wise after 4 in.
This is one heckuva makeup we have out there. Talent and depth abound. And grit. I see a bunch of winners out there on the court when they play. Outcome doesn't always reflect it but it's there.
I've believed before and, you know, Tiger ball. Won't stop me from believing again though. It's what we do.

Unfortunately it’s true that the Haters are in our heads now.
I think they accomplished the wrong goal: instead of getting Coach B fired, we now have a successful program (NOT due to their criticism) and a split fan base that positively hates their specre.
They rob the joy of winning from the fans they used to deride. Gotta wonder if that makes them happy, because I am absolutely certain that Winning doesn’t.

JK and his scocks/sycophants have been manufacturing this drama around the basketball program. There is virtually no criticism except from a handful of accounts that bash absolutely everything at Clemson (palmettoson). They (JK’s bros) even resort to bumping posts from last season to stir the pot. Which shows it was never about supporting Clemson and always about trolling this board.

While I find it insane that people do the nonsense they do on message boards it is not insane to be aware of fairly common practices. Cobbox got openly busted cross posting as JStone. Do they use the same device to post? Did he completely forget who we was responding to and respond in a manner that otherwise made no sense? Same for Shack/Allowat. In the context of a message board its far more likely the users are up to shenanigans rather that an honest but convoluted mistake.

I would probably never have posted about basketball if he hadn't spent years telling every manner of falsehood about our basketball program. Don’t flatter yourself. At least you cite your obsessions with JK, identifying the issue is important, now take steps to fix it. We just dump on you because oleMike got banned and your half hearted minions pretty much changed sides as we found massive success in the post season or disappeared completely.
When your demeanor last spring went from a negative about the current team to “we’re gonna really suck next year”, I knew you had nothing left. Sure, we very much could’ve sucked this season had….
Chase not returned
The portal guys not committed
Others transferred
Any number of things could still derail us
I just find it sad that this is the world you wanted for Clemson Basketball. Brownell coached or not.
Miserable, but a Lot of season left, early tournament exits or just flat out losing could bring your entourage back.
I just hope we keep winning.

Find the post where I said “we’re really gonna suck”. Not a tongue In cheek post about Tommy Bowden getting fired after an extension but a post where I actually say “we’re really gonna suck”. I’ve even acknowledged that perhaps, by pure happenstance, Brownell might excel at managing the NIL/transfer portal world. Of course that would have nothing to do with the arguments made on his behalf until 2020.

I know it is only the 5th conference game, but the game at Louisville Tuesday is huge for both teams. Louisville is a tough place to play and they have a good team so a win there taking us to 5-0 would just be out the roof big.

What would you all consider a successful season?
I’d like to get thru January and some of the impending road games, but an NCAA bid at a minimum and the sky’s the limit should we catch fire. A perfect recipe of the portal and experience could be the key.

I would consider a discussion at the end of the season to be reasonable. Setting some type of artificial goal in January without knowing what might pop up like injuries to be foolhardy at best. Let’s enjoy the season and pull for this fine team. We have suffered enough over the years without borrowing trouble

Simply returning to the NCAA tournament for a consecutive season was a reasonable expectation ahead of this one. That would be new territory for Brad and his program and further fuel for our upward arc. Still a lot of games ahead and anything can happen, but this seems well within our reach. Success there or in the ACC tournament would be gravy all things considered.

I do think most expect to see meaningful improvement.
Although we played better against a weak ACC we still did not win the conference. We did not play like a well-coached team consistently during the year, see BC in the ACCT but got hot at the right time. I would like to see improvements there.
I believe we have the administrative and fan support to be one of the top programs in college basketball. I simply want us to make progress toward that and fulfill our potential.

This overall looks like a better team than last year.
No control over how the ball bounces so I don't expect an elite 8 appearance but the team has staying power.
