Anyone with an ounce of baseball knowledge could tell this team wasn't built for a long run. Not enough pitching and way to many holes in the lineup. The worst avg and power hitting team in the entire tournament

Yeah to me, all this proves that EB is a great coach to get outta this awful lineup what he did, we have one, count em, one good hitter. That’s it. Maybe 2-3 good pitchers . It just came home to roost when we hit the schedule against good teams. What we need to really compete is a very good portal class but more, for the financial 💰 players situation to come and equalize the playing fields for us. I do think Bakich is a good coach. Hell, winning 20 games with this garbage roster says a ton

I think we all agree on that but Bakich is who brought these transfers in that didn’t do anything… it’s time to start recruiting or figure out the talent evaluation in the portal bc this is one of the worst hitting teams I remember here in a very long time

I've been saying that for months now. We just didn't have the depth of pitching that would help us go deep into the regionals much less the CWS. It gets tougher the higher up you go, and we just didn't have what is needed this year. Seeing things through orange glasses doesn't make it fact.
