Bowden is not a deeyham-yankee. Bowden never had a losing season. Bowden never had a sub .500 conference record... Doeren has all and a lot more of the latter than winning seasons. In fact, they need to start calling Doeren 3-5 coach. The only way it feels like a Tommy team is that they gave up the season after losing the big game (and that isn't just a Tommy thing). Tommy could get most of the pieces around him but not lined up at the right time with the right mindset. Beyond that, Doeren makes Tommy look like a genius. Tommy is a class act that set/rebuilt Clemson (prevented us from being UT dumpsterfire than no coach wants). Tommy also hired Dabo...
And all Wake has to do is beat Duke and they are the NC winner... North Carolina HS state champ!

Amen! Doeren is Tommy 2.0. He had all the pieces for a championship playoff team last year and coached them to a 9-4 record. Even lost to cawks

The difference is this is who NC State is, and who they have always been. Tommy has a sleeping giant and Clemson which he couldn’t quite wake.

At least tommy had class and character...doreen lacks both. Tommy recruited class kids,too. Doerun signs any thug that will put up with the environment there.

Have to change my response a bit, I'd forgotten Jim Boeheim is still coaching at Syracuse, so Doeren may not yet be the ACC's biggest d0uchebag. Not on a consistent basis anyway.
