So, Grisham got extended for another year. I guess that answers that question, (for now)...

Why is Kyle Richardson a “head scratcher”?

He coaches TEs and that phase of the offense improved significantly under his watch.
And we just got a commitment from one of the top TEs in the country.

I'm all in on Kyle Richardson -- Garrett Riley will grow Richardson immeasurably.

Totally agree, he could be the next OC when Riley moves on to a HC job in the next few years.

Well, Davis Allen was the #30 ranked TE out of high school.

He was a low 3-star recruit and not considered anything special.
He was pretty average until last season.
Hard to deny that Davis Allen bloomed into a pretty solid NFL prospect under Kyle Richardson.

Football generates a significant amount of $$. Success depends on coaching. There's a limited amount of people that can coach at a high success level at the college level. Its purely supply and demand. You can't have millionaire dreams and a minimum wage work ethic. You commies are all alike. You want something for nothing and hate someone else can get more. You always want it taken from someone else and given to you. Did the McDonald's guy study and work hard? Probably not. I tell my kids you get out what you put in. No effort, no study, no preparation.... nothing on the outcome side and nobody owes you nothing.

mcdonalds generates more than football but still pays their employees minimum wage. tax payers support them through welfare programs. these corporations are being subsidized by us so that they can pay their employees low wages in exchange for maximizing the profits of their shareholders. quality system.

What exactly is your beef?? The fact that McDonalds is a sh!tty corporation or the fact that Clemson is an outstanding football program?? If it's the former, take your whining elsewhere.

Sorry pal but McDonalds ant paying minimum wage. The McDonald's right here in Jefferson Ga right off 85 has a sign in the window "hiring now starting at $15/hr." If my calculations are correct that's darn near twice, 2 times, 2 x, 2(, minimum wage. No skill labor 15 an hour I'd say is pretty good. Let's view the alternative. McDonald's under government thumb, must pay workers at least...7.75 an hour. Yeah socialism. McDonald's pay 15 an hour or government make them pay 7.75. One, the business heads who know how to operate a business pay the their people an appropriate wage in what still resembles a free market or the morons like Joe Biden tell businesses how much to pay.
Do you not see the fallacy of your stupid argument.

Karl: I read your book, The Communist Manifesto. It was an interesting novel theory 100 years ago, but it didn't take into account human nature. Consequently, the last 100 years of real-world experiments with the many countries who have tried it, prove that you were completely wrong. Communism has failed everywhere it's been tried, and it has led to massive poverty & oppression (including repression of free speech, political prison camps, death camps & killing fields), whereas capitalism has lifted billions of people out of poverty. Now that we have about 100 years of disastrous results with various forms of communism implemented by many countries, I think you should take a course in modern economics, and consider admitting that you were completely wrong-- and that you work resulted in the murder of tens of millions of people.

Karl, how's the hidradenitis suppurativa you're suffering from? I read that it can make you moody, irritable, and generally loathsome. Do you think this could be affecting your college football insights?

Socialism, aka subsidizing people, takes away their motivation to work harder for things they want. If they know they can get money/food/housing without working by taking money from someone else they will become lazy. Look at today's welfare system. Politicians "sell" socialist goodies to get votes. Tax the rich to give to the poor. The "evil rich" . A rich guy pays me every week. Love that guy!

Dabo believes in these people and wants to keep them, so the raises and extensions are appropriate to show these guys they are valued and to also show recruits that the coaches who recruit them will be here.

I agree with about two thirds. That one third should not have been given extensions. Extensions equals more expensive buy outs to some and that also means everyone is happy with your product on the field.

I don’t have a problem with the coaches salaries, but the administrator salaries look way high. Similar positions in major industrial companies aren’t near that.

Based on what the football program brings in, this is money well spent.
