I'm afraid the following is likely to happen
1) The other teams in the league will treat us like the red-headed stepchild.
2) We will be forced to amass the lions share of the biggest conference cash cow, football revenue, and will have to share it disproportionately with the also-rans, the never-rans, and the idontgiveashitandwontspendmoney schools.
3) We will not get any calls, favorable reviews, or correct clock management from the refs; especially in basketball on tobacco road.
4) They'll take away all the venues for conference tourneys in SC.
5) They won't back us up or help to minimize any unjust penalties assessed by the big bad NCAA.
I hope it's not too late to just say we were kidding.

Bothers me a lot when we've taken the Eastwood & Leone approach to football...fistful of $ and For a few $ more! We were in a place and a conference where Clemson could go to the dance every year and even GOATs like Saban respected us...now we appear to be just like a bunch of money grabbing savages from North Florida at the FSWTC!..guess the times and the players we have to recruit need MO money! I hope the lawsuit and the Dabo dream does not die in my lifetime...for us to pay mercenaries instead of educating student athletes will kill the dream...and Dabo!

Regarding number 5, remember 1982 when the amazingly supportive ACC tacked an extra year on to our NCAA probation. Number 4: how many of those are there exactly? Not many that I know off. We will never have a football or basketball championship or tournament in SC. Number 1: who cares? If anything you made a case for the lawsuit, not against it.
