Blow out or close game vs State?
Nov 16, 2012, 4:52 PM

Which would be better for Clemson? I mean sure a blow out seems the obvious choice, but considering we have not played a close game in a while, and most believe the coots game will be close. SO would a close game vs NC State prepare us for a close game with USC? Or would it just be better to blow em out and use that momentum to beat the #####?

I would like us to blow them out, leaving the starters in for the full game. Ensuring they are still conditioned. But, also be conservative on play calling so as to avoid injury as much as possibly can be controlled.

This isn't a bad team. They're better than Wake, Duke, Mary

Land. They killed us last year at their place and they're capable of beating us again if we don't bring our A game. We need to go full throttle untile the final whistle or once we're up by 4 scores in the 4th... Whichever comes first.

We will bring our A game and we will start the scoring early and often. Should beat them by three touchdowns in a relatively high scoring game.

I am not worried about our players getting tired in a late November night game on national TV.

Clowney can't cover the entire field.

Tajh, Sammy, Nuk, and the gang will open the field. USCe can't stop the run, especially with our receivers.

I'm worried about him getting to Tajh every snap. Tajh is a poor QB when he is laying on his back.

rush. run right at clowney a few times, and he will slow his pursuit down, and just that split second of hesitation will be enough to let ae get into the second level,or give our wr's/te time to run the routes and allowing tajh the time to throw. usuc's d-line will be gassed by late 3rd qtr. we are playing at a much higher level, offensively, than we were at this time last year.

win...and a huge win...by the largest margin possible. Then, it's on to the next game! I'm a rather simple person, thinking simply that monstrous wins serve to build confidence...and continual confidence building shy of becoming overconfidence usually produces even better results in future contests.
