Yeah there are a lot of people struggling in this country who need to bridge the gap here and there to make it.

I love a good Doordash. I'm willing to pay $28 for a chick-fil-a order

sometimes. $40 for a pizza order. $50 for an order from the Thai place.
However, I would not be doing so if I weren't gainfully employed and reasonably debt free and successful.
Encouraging people to finance impulsive food purchases is crazy work.

Yeah hopefully it's only in an emergency and their chicken tenders don't end up with a collection agency.

One or two clicks, and you can spend 80% of your paycheck on what is the equivalent of financial cancer...and have them all delivered to your doorstep.
The stimulation of efficiency in the checkout process at your local Spinxx would even benefit from this.

The CFCB in May of last year says that the BNPL loans are same as credit cards

at least in terms of regulations and Klarna has similar deals with other food delivery services so it's unlikely they would have struck this down.
DoorDash owns 60%+ of the delivery market and many of the other companies' (ex.UberEats) contracts with Klarna predate the new classification of these BNPL loans so I'm sure if DOGE/Trump doesn't fully dismantle the CFCB, they'll be watching this closely.

Business plan should work well for them. They’ll be out of business very soon.
This will lead to intelligent thieves forcing the company’s bankruptcy with fraudulent purchases and intentions. They will then turn their debt of stupidity into tax dollar expenses.
They will offer purchasing power to individuals that have zero intentions of paying it back. They will lose money. No sweat off of their back though, the companies financial planing already paid the owners well. Now they fall back on tax payers to pay off the employees who were undoubtedly duped into their failed business plan. Tale as old as time.
